At Mauna Lani, our Holoholo Kids Crew is where adventure begins and curiosity runs wild. Designed for keiki ages 5-12, this complimentary kids club turns the island into an open-air playground filled with discovery and hands-on fun. One moment they’re exploring colorful tide pools, the next they’re casting a fishing line, digging into garden beds or learning new skills inspired by Hawaiʻi’s vibrant culture. Every experience is crafted to spark imagination, build confidence and keep young explorers moving, learning, and laughing – all in a safe and welcoming environment created just for them.

- Holoholo Kai | Cast your line in the Kai (Ocean) along Mauna Lani’s legendary coastline.
- I Spy 'Āina | Plot your way from fishponds to the Milo Tree Lawn using pictures.
- Hawaiian Dye Making | Using berries, flowers, leaves and roots, dye cloth using traditional methods.
- Kaulua | Craft a (double haul) voyaging canoe out of recycled materials, sailing it across the Keiki Pool.
- Watercolor Painting | Recreate scenes of the garden and the ocean with watercolor paints.

- Ke Kā o Makaliʻi | Explore the origins and meaning of Makali’i, a constellation consisting of five stars that resemble a canoe-bailer.

- ‘Olelo Hawai’i | Practice the Hawaiian language by using memorization games.
- ペトログリフ | Tell your story using symbols, similar to the ways in which ancient Hawaiians shared stories through etchings on lava rock.
