About the Steel Guitar Festival

The Hawai‘i Island Steel Guitar Experience celebrates the rich sound and timeless artistry of the steel guitar in Hawai‘i. Over four days, music will echo across Mauna Lani with intimate performances, workshops and opportunities to learn from master musicians. The highlight is a Saturday evening concert beneath the stars at Kalāhuipua‘a, where tradition and talent converge on one unforgettable stage. This free celebration, made possible through the support of HIMELE, Ke Kula Mele and community partners, carries forward the legacy of the Hawaiian steel guitar with passion, culture and connection.
